We are seeking a skilled and experienced Anodizing Manager to oversee our anodizing operations. The Anodizing Manager will be responsible for leading a team, managing the anodizing process, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Anodizing Process Management: Manage and optimize all aspects of the aluminum extrusion anodizing process, including pre-treatment, anodizing, coloring, sealing, and quality control.
2. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure that all anodized products meet or exceed customer specifications and industry standards.
3. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements in the anodizing department. Develop and implement strategies to achieve these improvements.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of anodizing technicians and operators. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations related to anodizing processes. Implement best practices for waste management and pollution prevention.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and quality assurance, to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and achieve overall company goals.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of anodizing processes, production data, quality inspections, and any relevant documentation. Prepare reports and presentations as needed for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aluminum extrusion anodizing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of anodizing processes, including chemical compositions, equipment operation, and quality control measures.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to aluminum anodizing, such as ASTM, ISO, and environmental regulations.
